About the didjeridoos
We offer a custom service: we build your didje for you. We have a range of instruments available made mostly from the flower stalk of the agave plant. The didjes - shortcut for didjeridoo, didgeridoo or digeridu - are made in South Africa as the agave here is amazing. They can range in size from 3ft in length to in excess of 12ft, some with a very large bowl at the end, some big and open, some small and tight. The agave in South Africa is of top quality with strong outer skin and heavy dense bell ends.
The construction of the instrument can vary from a “natural” finish (coated in and out with a non-toxic polymer, gloss/matt) to a light composite wrap and then onto a full carbon finish.
The utmost care is taken from harvesting to hollowing and construction to bring to market an instrument of the highest quality.
This website is not a commercial endeavour but a journey of craftsmanship resulting in a top quality sounding instrument providing a service to those who are searching for the “sound” and are interested in having an instrument that performs on the highest level.
Whether it is meditation or rocking out on stage, these instruments will get you there, peeling back the layers of the present, like a gateway into the now… eternity, forever!

Didjeridoos available and prices
In the past Didjemana was very busy making many instruments but nowadays things are different, and much time is spent on one instrument. The focus is on the highest potential of the instrument. At most 3 didjes are in the workshop at any one time and an average instock of 10 didjes is the norm. Much time is spent on tuning these didjes just right. Didjes come anywhere from high G's to low G's.
If we don't have your peticular didje needs in stock you can place a custom order to tailor your needs. Be prepared to wait a little bit for your instrument…this is a timely process!
